Arrive at Leh airport ( Kushok Bakula Rinpoche airport ) by morning flight . You can see the most sensational view of Ladakh from the flights. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif.  On arrival you will be met our representative and transfer to your hotel (3 kms./ 10 min.) . Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and full day rest. We suggest on first day to take rest for body acclimatization, since you have gone from a relatively low elevation to over 11,000 feet!  After early breakfast, proceed to Pangong Lake via Chang La pass (5475 Mts). The drive takes you through spectacular, amazing scenery, with breathtaking views of the snow covered Himalayas. The Lake is the highest (4267 Mts) salt-water lake in the World, situated along the India / China border. It is about 130 Kms long and 5-6 Km wide.
