All ten days of this itinerary take place entirely in Iceland, showcasing the country’s most stunning natural and cultural highlights. The journey begins in Reykjavík, Iceland’s vibrant capital, before heading through the famous Golden Circle to see Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, and Gullfoss waterfall. Traveling along the South Coast, you’ll explore Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, the black sand beaches of Vík, and the glacier lagoons of Skaftafell and Jökulsárlón. The adventure continues through the scenic East Fjords, where picturesque villages and the relaxing Vök Baths await. In the north, you’ll visit Lake Mývatn, Goðafoss waterfall, and the charming town of Akureyri. The tour then moves west to discover hot springs, waterfalls, and historical sites in Borgarfjörður, before exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, known as “Iceland in Miniature” for its diverse landscapes. The trip ends back in Reykjavík, completing a full circle around the breathtaking island of Iceland.

Day 01
Welcome to Rovaniemi!

Upon your arrival in Rovaniemi by flight, a private car will take you from Rovaniemi Airport to your hotel. If you are interested, there is an optional tour (not included in the package) called Northern Lights Hunting by bus. It costs 99 EUR per person. During this 3-hour tour, you will be taken to the best spot to witness the Northern Lights, a spectacular natural event in the Arctic. Bring your camera and tripod to capture the beautiful colours. You will drive away from the city and its lights for about 30-45 minutes, depending on the weather. If you are lucky, you might even see the lights on the way. Remember, seeing the lights is not guaranteed, but they are often visible on clear evenings. Even if you do not see the lights, the Arctic starry sky is stunning. Seeing the lights is a bit like winning a small lottery – it is unpredictable but might happen during the trip! Be prepared for some pleasant surprises. The starting time of the tour might change. After the tour, you will spend the night at your hotel in Rovaniemi.

Day 02
Reindeer Farm & Santa Claus Village Adventure

Start your day with a good breakfast. In the morning, we will pick you up and head to the beginning of your snowmobile safari. This safari is a chance for you to ride your own snowmobile through the forest trails around Santa Claus Village. Enjoy the beautiful winter scenery, and you will have a few stops to take in the snowy nature. After the snowmobiling fun, you will visit a local Reindeer Farm. Here, you will experience a short but exciting reindeer sleigh ride (about 700 metres). You will warm up in a comfortable Lappish tent called "kota," where you will be served hot Lappish berry juice and cookies. Participate in the mysterious Arctic Circle ceremony, where you will hear the Oldest Legend of Lapland. You will even receive the International Reindeer Driver’s License and the Arctic Circle Crossing Certificate. You will head back to the Arctic Circle for a buffet lunch at Santa Claus Village. After lunch, you will have free time to visit the Santa Claus Office and meet Santa on your own. Explore Santa Claus Village, send postcards from Santa’s Post Office, and check out the souvenir shops.The whole program lasts about 6 hours, with approximately 1 hour and 30-40 minutes of snowmobiling and 1 hour at the reindeer farm. For safety reasons, the average speed during the snowmobile ride is limited. Two adults will ride on one snowmobile, but if you prefer to ride alone, there is an extra charge. This tour is family-friendly, and children will travel in a sled pulled by the guide's snowmobile. After the adventure, spend the night at the hotel in Rovaniemi.

Day 03
Husky Safari

Start your day with a delicious breakfast. Today, you will be picked up and taken to where your husky safari begins. Leave the city behind and immerse yourself in the enchanting forests of the Lappish wilderness!
As you drive your own team of huskies, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Lappish forests and hills. The sound of the huskies panting and the snow under your sled create the perfect soundtrack for this adventure. Upon reaching the kennel, you will get safety and driving instructions. The trail's length depends on weather conditions and participants' skills, usually ranging from 14-20 km and taking about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Children ride in the same sled as their parents. After the ride, you will warm up with hot juice and cookies while hearing stories about the Husky farm. The entire program, including transfers, lasts approximately 4 hours. Spend the night at the hotel in Rovaniemi.

Departure from Rovaniemi

Begin your day with a tasty breakfast. Check out from the hotel in the morning. If you have time, you can explore the Arktikum Museum (optional tour, not included), located in the city centre. The museum's exhibitions take you on a journey through Finnish Lapland and the Arctic region, covering the history and culture of Lapland from prehistory to the 1970s. Learn about Arctic research today and in the future. Later, transfer from the hotel to Rovaniemi Airport.
