Day 01: The River City | Arrival at Guwahati

Arrive at Guwahati Airport. Your host transfers you to your city hotel. In the evening, we board the Alfresco Grand (or similar) for a Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River. Watch the sun dip below the Saraighat Bridge as you float on one of the world's major waterways.

Day 02
Day 02: The Tantric Hill | Kamakhya & Umananda

Start early for Kamakhya Temple atop Nilachal Hill, one of the most powerful Shakti Peeths in India. The energy here is undeniable. Later, take a ferry to Peacock Island to visit the Umananda Temple (dedicated to Lord Shiva) located in the middle of the river. Evening visit to Balaji Temple or Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra for a dose of Assamese culture.

Day 03: The Lake Drive | Guwahati to Shillong

We drive up to the hills of Meghalaya (3 hours). Stop at the massive Umiam Lake (Barapani). The view of the blue water against the pine forests is instantly calming. Arrive in Shillong and check into your heritage hotel or resort. Evening free to stroll through Police Bazaar on your own.

  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel .
  • Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in to the hotel and in that case hotel will not refund any money .
  • According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person staying at the hotel.
  • The ID Proof can be Drivering License, Voters ID Card, Passport and Aadhar Card (Pan Card is not valid as ID Proof) .
  • Foreigners/NRI are requested to produce the Passport & valid Visa as Id proof on the time of check-in.
  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 07 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment or May Vary By Hotel Policy in which rooms are booked.

  • 100% Cancellation Charges, if cancelled within 7 days from the check-in date
  • 50% Cancellation charges, if cancelled within 10 days from the check-in date
  • 25% Cancellation charges, if cancelled within 15 days from the check-in date
  • 15% Cancellation charges, if cancelled in more than 15 days from the check-in date
