Day 01: The Hill Station | Arrival to Shillong

Arrive at Guwahati Airport. We drive to Shillong, the "Scotland of the East" (3 hours). Stop at Umiam Lake for a photo op against the blue waters. Check into your hotel. Evening is leisure time at Police Bazaar or a quiet dinner at a local cafe.

Day 02: The Plunge | Shillong to Cherrapunji

A scenic drive to Cherrapunji (Sohra). En route, visit the Elephant Falls and the Mawkdok Dympep Valley View Point. Arrive in Cherrapunji and visit the Seven Sisters Falls (visible clearly during monsoon/post-monsoon) and the Nohkalikai Falls.

Day 03: The Caves & Parks | Cherrapunji Leisure

A relaxed day. Explore the Mawsmai Cave (easy access, lit up inside) or the Arwah Cave (rich in fossils). Visit the Thangkharang Park for views of the Bangladesh plains. Spend the evening watching the mist roll over the hills from your resort.

Day 04: The Clear Water | Cherrapunji to Dawki

Drive to Dawki on the border. Experience the famous Umngot River boating—the water is so clear you can see the riverbed. Visit Mawlynnong, the "Cleanest Village in Asia," to see the community-managed gardens and the Single Decker Living Root Bridge nearby. Stay amidst nature. Overnight: Dawki / Shnongpdeng (Riverside Resort/Camp).

Day 05: The City Culture | Dawki to Shillong

  • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel .
  • Without valid ID the guest will not be allowed to check in to the hotel and in that case hotel will not refund any money .
  • According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person staying at the hotel.
  • The ID Proof can be Drivering License, Voters ID Card, Passport and Aadhar Card (Pan Card is not valid as ID Proof) .
  • Foreigners/NRI are requested to produce the Passport & valid Visa as Id proof on the time of check-in.
